 Hue

   When we ask "What color is that?", what we are really asking about is the property of color called hue. For example, when we say a color is red, yellow or blue, we are talking about each color's hue.

   Pure red, pure green, and pure blue are the three primary colors in the visual spectrum. All other colors are a mixture of these three primary colors. A pure color is one without added white or black pigment.
